Privacy policy

This policy explains how Nameraka Software Ltd, trading as Pitos ("Pitos", "we"), uses personal data when you visit www.pitos.io or contact us. It does not cover the client data that accounting firms put into Velari. That is governed by our agreement with each firm, under which the firm is the controller and we are its processor.

What we collect

• When you email us: your name, email address, firm name and anything you choose to tell us.
• When you visit the website: our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, arrange early access: our legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract.
• To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host and email provider, under contracts that protect your data. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we go on to work together.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on adequacy regulations or the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email hello@pitos.io. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
