UK hosting on AWS
Velari runs on Amazon Web Services in the London region (eu-west-2). Client data stays in the UK.
Encrypted everywhere
Connections use TLS 1.2 or later. The database and its backups are encrypted at rest with their own dedicated keys.
Multi-factor sign-in
Every user signs in with multi-factor authentication. Access within a firm is limited by role, and only firm administrators can change firm-wide settings.
Audit trail
Changes to the books are recorded with who made them and when, so you can always see how a figure came to be.
Monitored infrastructure
Account activity is logged centrally and continuously monitored for threats, with separate, locked-down accounts for logs and security.
Backups
Automated, encrypted backups with point-in-time recovery for the database.
Data protection
Nameraka Software Ltd handles personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For the client data you put into Velari, your firm is the controller and we act as your processor.
AI features run on the data already in Velari and are designed so that your clients' data is not used to train models for anyone else.
